Data Management

In Math, we are moving onto graphing!  We are going to learn how to collect data (information) and showing that data on graphs.  We learned how to create bar graphs.  Here is our graph that we created together about our favourite seasons!

Report Cards

Report cards went home today and in the envelop, you will find the interview times for Thursday evening and Friday morning.  They are all 15 minutes in length.  See you all then!

Four Seasons

We are starting our new Science unit on our Daily and Seasonal changes.  We talked about the four seasons and what we do in each season.  We will also learn why we have the seasons, as well as day and night.

As we near the middle of November, the leaves are mostly fallen and the days are getting shorter.  This poem is about all the things that are slowly disappearing in November.  Things such as bees, flowers, butterflies, and birds are all starting to disappear.  This is NOvember.

We Remember

Throughout the week, we talked about Remembrance Day and the significance of November 11th.  We should remember and respect the soldiers who fought for us to give us peace.  We read the famous poem 'In Flanders Fields' by John McCrae and created our own field of poppies.  We also talked about peace and what peace meant to us.  We wrote about what peace felt like, sounded like, tasted like, smelled like, and looked like.
