Spelling Poem #6: The Leaves on the Trees

The leaves on the trees are starting to change colour and fall to the ground.  This is a sign that winter is on its way.  This week I have a song for you again and it is sung to the tune of ''The Wheels on the Bus''.  Boys and girls did a better job last week on their ''Spelling Bees'', keep it up!  One person already got 5 stars and received a prize from my treasure chest!! Great job!  Please review the spelling words and correct any spelling words that you did not get correct on your spelling bee (by writing it 3 times).

Spelling Words:

1) up
2) down
3) come
4) came
5) go
6) went

Additional Questions:

2) Which words in the list are opposite words

_______________  and _________________

When something has happened already, we use the PAST TENSE.  For example, "I am going to eat the apple." and if it happened already,  ''I already ate the apple.":
